I'm normally incredibly critical of Xenoverse 2's DLCs, and I've found all of the previous ones to be exorbitantly overpriced for what you get, but this one might actually be worth it.The characters here are really, really solid. They're really well made, really good representations of the characters, and almost all of their skills can be used by players--AND it comes with a bunch of new Parallel Quests which are both challenging and fun.A lot of people are rightfully complaining about Zamasu as a mentor, and his utterly garbage missions, and that's fair. They're total trash. The combos it tries to teach you are inconsistent and full of bad habits, and the system that's trying to teach you them is obnoxiously precise. It's really bad. Like, genuinely, honestly one of the worst things they've ever done. Nobody likes tutorials, Dimps. We hate them. Universally. Especially when they're mandatory. Stop doing it.That being said, do I think it ruins the experience? Not at all. You can get through Zamasu's missions in under an hour. It's an incredibly brief annoyance that really doesn't distract much from the rest of the content here.I cannot believe I'm saying this, but this is actually probably worth $10 in my opinion. The characters are really well made, and they're ones we've been asking for since before the damn game was even in a playable state. If you're even thinking about picking it up though, just do yourself a favour and get the extra pack set instead. It's like $7 more for like 3x the content.. The zamasu training is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t you cant pull of the combos and when you do he dodges them so they cancle so you have to start all over. Zamasu as a Intstructor, what can I say.... Unique characters. Some CHALLENGING PQs for once. It's a great deal given how low the price is.Good on ya, Dimps and Bandai Namco. You came through this time.. Dunno if I'd recommend this or not. Whoever designed the Zamasu training is a sadistic peice of work, though. Not fun.. I have to say that this DLC is... okay. Save for one glaring flaw. The new Master, Zamasu. It's like DIMPS looked at one of the most hated parts of the base game (the ridiculous training missions where you HAVE to input very precise combos) and decided to add them to EVERY one of Zamasu's training stages. But on top of that, decided to boost the difficulty even more by not having you face against a stationary target, like the other missions, but instead against a max level AI that spams the special attack of that stage, due to having infinite ki, health, and stamina.. why am i paying money for dbz characters that should have already been in the game, previous dlc packs featured characters from dbs. a13 combos drop way to much in pvp and buuhans reach is spammable and annoying. literally a whole fight where the dude was just using his extendo arms slapping me from 10 feet away and spamming kamehameha mid combos, at least we got pride troopers outfit and zamasus lessons are actually difficult to learn or at least challenging compared to the other trash mentors
